Teatro La Fenice in Venice: highlights of the 2026–27 season
An evening at Teatro La Fenice offers a different perspective on Venice. Instead of following a sightseeing itinerary, you sit down and let music set the pace. The 2026–27 season brings opera, ballet and concerts to one of the city’s most evocative cultural venues.
Opera dates worth noting
The new opera season includes Fedora from 13 to 22 November 2026 and Madama Butterfly from 30 January to 9 February 2027. Later titles include Carmen from 23 April to 4 May 2027 and Il Barbiere di Siviglia from 25 May to 1 June 2027. Dates are those published by the theatre and may change.
Tickets for the 2026–27 season went on sale in September 2026. Choose the performance first, then build your evening around it. Consult the official theatre website for availability, start times and any dress guidance connected to specific performances.
Make room for the evening itself
Rather than rushing from a museum directly to the theatre, enjoy an early aperitivo and a gentle walk through the San Marco district. After the curtain falls, Venice often feels transformed: familiar streets seem quieter and the city’s theatrical history lingers a little longer.
Bloom & Settimo Cielo, near Campo Santo Stefano, is well placed for guests who want their evenings to feel as memorable as their days. The team can help with information about performances and tickets upon request.
